Dear Family and Friends,
As some of you know, I am a breast cancer survivor. In 2010, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer which is a very aggressive type of cance. I was told I had a 66% of surviving the first 3-5 years and although this news felt like a death sentence, I was determined to do everything possible to extend my life because I still had a lot of living left to do. Thank God, I was able to beat the odds and enjoy a cancer free life. Without the love and support from my family, friends, neighbors, and kind strangers I met during my cancer journey, I don't think I would have had the strength to keep fighting. I truly feel privileged to be alive and healthy, because unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as me.
This year, I want to give back as much as I can by fundraising to support The DONNA Foundation, or you can join me by walking/running with the "GT Warriors in Pink" team at the Donna 5K Run at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, FL on October 12, 2024.
